Director of Quality Control (QC) / Quality Assurance (QA) – Aura
Systems Senior experienced quality control professional.

Aura Systems, Inc., a U.S based company has developed and commercialized an axial flux induction machine. Currently Aura is delivering, 5 kW, 8.5 kW and 16 kW machines used for power generation in mobile applications.

Axial flux induction machine are acknowledged to have higher energy density than their equivalent radial flux machines. The higher flux density leads to significant lower volume and weight that can easily be integrated into vehicles to support mobile power applications for both military and commercial users.

In addition to the generator component Aura has also developed and commercialized the electronic controllers to support the axial flux generator. The design architecture is based on the usage of multi power busses to support both high voltage and lower voltage applications. The high voltage power buss is used to drive the generator. The lower voltage busses are used for both lower power loads as well as supporting the high voltage buss under load spikes or the ability to start inductive and reactive loads.

Aura Systems, Inc. is opening an Research and Development (R&D) center in Israel to enhance the development of axial flux induction machines for both commercial and military applications. The R&D activities will focus of enhanced materials to higher magnetic saturation capabilities as well as optimization of the designs to increase efficiency and reduce losses. In addition the R&D activities will aim to develop optimum control electronics to support the induction machine for as high as 100 kW loads.

Job Requirements

• Must have experience in implementing procedures, setting and enforcing quality policy and standards
• Experienced with ISO 9000 and other quality standards used in development and manufacturing of electro-mechanical devices and imbedded software.
• The candidate will report directly to the Company’s President.
