Full-time QA Manager

at Riplife Gaming Technologies in Barcelona

Summary:
The QA Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the testing services provided from their business office. Managing a small team of resource, the QA Manager will be responsible for ensuring that testing services are provided for projects that range from the delivery of payment processors to the rapid creation and delivery of micro-sites and landing pages. Although this is a management level role, it is expected that the bulk of work undertaken will be hands-on testing, assisting their team members in the execution of their daily duties. The QA Manager will also work in collaboration with the Director of Quality Assurance as well as other QA Managers within the global testing services group to help implement new or improve upon existing processes and practices to ensure that our software products demonstrate the quality and polish the company stands for. This is a key responsibility within the business, providing end to end QA support for all associated projects, ensuring that their teams can collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, project management and engineering teams in the planning, preparation and executing of manual and automated testing services across the release pipeline

Responsibilities:

  • To own and manage the testing services provided by their team, ensuring that best practices are being followed and that a high level of service is being maintained
  • To work with the Director of QA and other key stakeholders to implement and enhance existing processes and procedures
  • To lead a team of QA Engineers in the execution of their duties
  • To work with their team to deliver manual services for agreed projects in the pipeline as well as to liaise with global automated testing resources for relevant testing needs
  • To provide mentoring and career development for their teams

Requirement:

  • 3-4 years in Testing / QA, with at least 1+ years managing staff
  • Bachelors degree in related discipline (Computer Science, Information Systems etc)
  • Excellent soft skills such as reporting, communication etc.
  • Excellent verbal skills, must be English speaking
  • Strong experience in working across multiple streams of work
  • Experience in consistently delivering against agreed timelines
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Center
  • ISEB qualified (preferably to Practitioner Level)
  • Experience with automated testing (functional and/or non functional) is preferred
  • Prior exposure to gaming or gambling software is preferred
  • Prior exposure to the testing of payment systems such as Visa, NetTeller, Click2Pay etc. is preferred
  • Prior exposure to the effective testing of micro-sites and landing pages
  • Strong English skills (verbal and written)
