Sr. Server Programmer (Barcelona)

Profile:
•Developing the server side components for highly scalable social multiplayer games using technologies like Java, PHP, MySQL and Apache.
•Working together with the game teams to implement new features and services for social games.
•Capable of organizing other programmers or junior programmers
•Cooperate with the other members of the team.
•Customizing and tuning games to add new functionality and meet production standards.
Experience: 3-5 years
Requiriments:
• Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science
• Proven experience in server development using JavaEE/Tomcat or PHP/Apache.
• Proficiency in SQL/MySQL.
• 5 or more years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong track record of shipping projects on time.
• Past projects that include live-deployed, highly scalable systems in production environments.
• Fluent spoken and written English is required.
• Passion for games and some knowledge of the gaming industry.
