Test Lead x 5 required for long-term contract opportunities
Vero Solutions (www.vero.ie) is an independent software development company headquartered in Sandyford in Dublin. We have an extensive and prestigious customer base both in Ireland and abroad.
We provide two main services
1. An outsourced R&D facility
2. Onsite engineering resources
Vero Solutions presently has a requirement for a number of Test Leads.
These are long term contract opportunities to be based on a customer site. The customer is a world-leading provider of telecommunications equipment and related services to Mobile and Broadband network operators globally.
Role Description:
You will be a test lead for a feature team within a department. You will have about 60/70 developers divided into a number of Agile teams numbering between 8 and 10. Almost all of the development is Java-based - you will be expected to do the test analysis per sprint, manage the test resources (allocate servers, testers, ensure that the level of test automation is correct), and also take responsibility for the quality of the output.
The Candidate:
The candidate must have a strong personality and be capable of leading a large team. Excellent communication skills are required – someone who is capable of shouting “Stop” if the quality is not acceptable. You will be required to evaluate, select and use the most appropriate automation tool for the task in hand. Java Testing skills/GUI Automation in Java, strong Unix, Scripting and Agile Methodology experience are a must.
