Quality Assurance Specialist
Description
Our client is an innovative online advertising technology firm looking to add to their growing Toronto office team. Quality Assurance Specialist will work with a team of QA Specialists working closely with QA Manager on product improvements/developments. Lots of career potential and growth opportunities available.
Responsibilities
- Testing methodologies, and the Agile Scrum development processes including sprint iteration planning and daily standup scrum updates
- Recommend and implement quality process improvements
- Work on release test plans, track quality status, and provide release recommendations to the senior executives
- Execute test plans and test cases for user stories within each sprint, including risk based regression testing
- Document defects and work closely with developers to investigate, troubleshoot and verify defect fixes
- Resolve quality issues quickly and effectively
Requirement
- 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience, ideally within an Advertising Technology company
- Computer Science or Engineering Degree
- Experience with SDLC – Agile Scrum Development preferred
- Performance based marketing experience ideal (CPM, CPC, CPA)
- Ability to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Ad Tag experience (DART; DFP, DFA etc.)
- Knowledge of HTTP protocol and tools such as Charles or Fiddler is essential
- Environment; Python/Django/Linux/NoSQL/SQL/Erlang
