System Test Engineer Sweden

This is an exciting opportunity for a Testing Engineer to be involved in the development of test cases of networking nodes.
The role will require an in-depth understanding of the 3GPP standars and signalling protocols. You will be working closely with handset manufacturers and you will be part of the team developing TTCN-3 test cases used by customers for the certification of networking nodes.
Description of the Position
• Design and specify the testing documentation for networking nodes.
• Developing and debugging the test cases for networking protocols GSM, GPRS and UMTS.
• Execution of test cases using a variety of tools and techniques
• Reporting on test execution, the quality of the tested deliverables and adherence to 3GPP protocols (GSM/GPRS, UMTS, LTE)
All these tests will be done under the standard TTCN.
Required Qualifications and Skills
• University Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineer
• 2-3 years working experience in related fields
• Familiar with Unix OS
• Familiar with at least one language: Shell scripts
• Familiar with CISCO
• Knowledge of software testing, including test process and test methodologies
• Knowledge in Core Network Products (MSC, MGw, SGSN, GGSN, MME, MPG) and/or Radio Network Products (RNC, RBS, eNB)
• Programming in C/C++
Preferred Qualifications and Skills (Not compulsory)
• Knowledge/experience with any of the following is an advantage:
a) Standard TTCN-3
b) Understand telecom standards 3GPP
Other Soft Skills
• Willing to live in Sweden
• Good English communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Can work independently, easy to work with and strong team work spirit
• Ability to learn new technology quickly and apply to work tasks
• Innovative and problem solving
