QA Engineer (Madrid and Barcelona)

Due to the constant growth of our social network, Tuenti is seeking QA Engineers to join our Quality Assurance team in our Madrid and Barcelona offices.
The QA team is actively involved in our product development process - creating test plans based on product requirements, writing test cases, and executing these test cases before and after the product is released.
The QA Engineer position is open for our offices in Madrid and Barcelona, and we are looking for Engineers who will take over these responsibilities:
· Work within a specific product development team(s) using SCRUM methodology, owning the browser-based automated tests for that product(s), web and/or mobile.
· Be the QA evangelist for your dev team, promoting code quality quality and optimal test coverage.
· Prioritize issues' and enhancements' fixes. Detect and manage test risks.
· Make proper prioritization decisions by regularly staying abreast of information on products' delivery timelines and external issues & user feedback information by liaising with Product and User Support Teams.
· Report QA metrics & analysis and overall test coverage.
· Contribute to continuous QA & Testing process improvements and tools optimization.
Desired Skills & Experience
For this position, we are looking for candidates with knowledge of PHP and object-oriented programming, basic knowledge of HTTP, browser compatibility, JavaScript, etc., knowledge in QA and Test methodologies, debugging knowledge, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will have one year experience developing automated tests in an object-oriented programming language, BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience, and fluency in written and spoken English.
