Test Manager, based in Dublin, Ireland

Test Manager Role Profile based in Dublin, Ireland
• Test Manager required to manage team of 2-4 testers working in a complex, multi system, technical environment.
• Role will require standard Test Management capabilities in terms of managing team activities, project timelines, test coverage/progress/defect reporting to Project Management and liaison with senior customer representatives
• Role will also require a level of hands on activities in terms of test execution and defect progression and therefore some technical skills are required in addition to management skills.
• Telco test experience required
• Good Unix Skills
• Good database knowledge and SQL skills
• Knowledge of FTP
• Proven Functional Test experience working on complex systems
• • Experience testing web services using SOAPUI an advantage
• Knowledge of Mercury TestDirector/Quality Centre
• Produce daily updates and regular reports for the Project Manager on the progress / status of test team activities
• Suggest and implemented process improvements which will be to the benefit of the project and other projects.
• Have a meticulous and thorough approach to work.
• Have the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
• Be a self-starter.
• Have excellent communication both verbal and written.
• Have a positive attitude
• Have an ability to take ownership and drive issues
• Good communication skills - articulate and diplomatic
