QA Engineer
at Riplife Gaming Technologies in Barcelona
Riplife is a fast growing IT Services company with offices in Barcelona and Malaga. We develop online applications for major brands in the online entertainment industry specialized in sports, racing, poker and casino, and the products we create for them meet the highest standard in software applications. We use JAVA predominately, combined with the Agile methodology.

The QA Engineer is expected to work in collaboration with the QA Manager as well as Senior QA Engineers to provide a high standard of testing services to ensure that our software products demonstrate the quality and polish the company stands for.
Responsibilities:
• Reviewing design artifacts for testability
• Design of high value test cases for use in the various stages of the software development lifecycle
• Execution of test cases for projects as directed by Senior QA Engineers or the QA Manager
• Recording of results for test execution cycles undertaken
• Logging of defects when failures are encountered, ensuring sufficient details are recorded
• Reporting on test execution, the quality of the tested deliverables and adherence to standards
Requirements:
• 1+ years in a hands-on, Testing / QA capacity in a Web development environment
• Bachelors degree in related discipline (Computer Science, Information Systems etc)
• Experience in compatibility testing required, in particular testing mobile devices
• Experience in A/B testing required, using tools such as SiteSpect, Omniture SiteCatalyst or Google Optimizer
• Experience in geolocation and banner testing preferred
• Comprehension of HTML, JSP and XML highly desirable
• Experience using Jira or similar defect tracking tools desirable
• Experience of designing test cases in tools such as Quality Center is desirable
• Excellent soft skills such as reporting, communication etc.
• Good attention to detail
• Excellent verbal skills, must be English speaking
• Experience in consistently delivering against agreed timelines
• ISEB qualified
• Prior exposure to gaming or gambling software is an advantage
• Exposure to Agile methodologies is an advantage
