Automative QA Engineer
at Riplife Gaming Technologies in Barcelona
Riplife is a fast growing IT Services company with offices in Barcelona and Malaga. We develop online applications for major brands in the online entertainment industry specialized in sports, racing, poker and casino, and the products we create for them meet the highest standard in software applications. We use JAVA predominately, combined with the Agile methodology.
The Automation QA Engineer is a key member of the Automated QA Group and is responsible for providing automated testing services, both functional and non functional for various projects in the overall release pipeline
The candidate will be expected to work in collaboration with the QA Manager as well as Senior Automation QA Engineers to provide a high standard of automated testing services to ensure that our software products demonstrate the quality and polish the company stands for.
Responsibilities:
• To work with Senior Automation QA Engineers and the QA Manager in the provision of automated testing services for projects in the pipeline
• To develop, enhance and maintain well formed and scalable test frameworks for various functional and non functional stages of the software development lifecycle
• To develop, enhance and maintain high value test scripts for various functional and non functional testing
• To work with the team in the development of testing tools, utilities or applications to improve the efficiency of the QA group
• To liaise with other members of the global QA function as well as with numerous disciplines within the business to the professional standard expected by the QA function
• To work closely within the team towards the continual improvement of the automation capabilities provided by the group
Requirements:
• 1+ years in a hands-on, Testing / QA capacity in a automated testing services
• Bachelors degree in related discipline (Computer Science, Information Systems etc)
• Excellent soft skills such as reporting, communication etc.
• Excellent verbal skills, must be English speaking
• Experience in consistently delivering against agreed timelines
• Excellent problem solving skills and good attention to detail
• Strong Java and / or VBScript programming experience
• Strong configuration management and code management skills using tools such as Subversion
• Strong experience in designing and implementing automated test assets across complex, cross browser based applications
• Strong knowledge of non functional tools such as WebLoad, NeoLoad, LoadRunner, LoadUI is preferred
• Strong knowledge of functional testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, Rational Functional, SoapUI
• Prior exposure to gaming or gambling software is preferred
