Position Description

The ideal candidate should have web services, web applications and Linux applications testing experience. Participates in the creation, preparation, and conduct of quality assurance reviews and test plans. Responsible for the development and execution of test scripts.

Creates, prepares and conducts quality assurance reviews and develops and executes test plans and test scripts for multiple applications. Uses knowledge of applications to provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving moderately complex test problems. Performs moderately complex to complex test data conditioning, regression testing, Load testing and testing validation. Provides specific guidance on defects to developers. Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects.

Position requirements:

• 4+ years of experience working with Quality Center, defect tracking tools.
• 3+ years Web Services / Web applications testing.
• 3+ years Linux software testing.
• Act as lead in creation, preparation& conduct quality assurance reviews, development of test plan & test scripts.
• Ability to serve coordinator for all testing activities on the project & maintain the consistent test methodology and resolve the question during testing process.
• Ability to provide technical assistance in identifying evaluating and resolving highly complex test problems.
• Ability to effectively communicate utilizing interpersonal skills, team player; self-motivated, quick learner, ability to resolve highly complex test problems.
• Ability to participate proactively on a project team to provide high quality results and communicate complex technical information to various levels of team members and project coordinator.
• Proficient analytical and organizational skills are a must. Capable of performing multiple tasks and work independently.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks, priorities and critical testing.
• High degree of flexibility and strong team player, as well as ability to be self motivated, working well without close supervision and under competing deadlines.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance processes and methodology

This position will have a 3 month trial period with posibility to extend to full time employment.

Note: Candidates must be able to legally work in Barcelona, Spain and be able to speak, read & write in English at a high level.
