QA & Test Engineer
at Q-tech in Barcelona
Our client is an international oriented company, Spanish SME developing security technology with a focus on electronic voting and election support.
We are looking for a profile that can communicate with DEV team and QA team. Be able to design and prepare the test environment for launching automated integration tests. Identify security issues on the products and be able to measure the number of concurrent users and size of data that can handle.
Daily work bridging DEV and QA teams
Implementation of automated Integration Tests based on Test Plans
Configuration management of the Test/Preproduction environments
Review of static / dynamic code analysis reports
Perform Security Testing in web based applications (Tiger Team)
Perform Load/Stress Testing using automated solutions
Implementation of automated Smoke/End-to-End Tests
Complete assigned tasks on-time and in accordance with the appropriate process
Regular status reports of testing activities to the QA Director
Some travel may be required
Successful candidates should have:
.-At least 3 years in a similar position in either DEV or QA team
.-Experience in multi-platform development (Linux, UNIX, Windows)
.-Good Knowledge of Java (J2SE, J2EE)
.-Good knowledge of formal testing techniques
.-Experience working with open source tools, libraries and products
.-Knowledge in at least 4 of the following areas
;Must be able to communicate in English
Spanish knowledge is optional

.-Java Test Libraries / Frameworks ( Junit, jwebunit, htmlunit, httpunit, jmeter, jemmy, jbehave, spring-test, mockito, easymock, dbunit )
.-Servlet containers ( Tomcat, Glassfish, Jetty )

.-Issue Tracking Tools ( Redmine, Jira, Trac )
.-Test Management Tools ( TestRail, TestLink )
.-Java Profiling tools
.-Working with Agile Methodologies ( XP, Scrum, Kanban... )
.-Knowledge of cryptography: PKI, PKCS
